Dental, Vision, and Hearing Coverage (Individual and Family Plan)
While Individual and Family Plans may offer comprehensive medical and prescription coverage, some plans may lack dental, vision, and hearing coverage. Dental Coverage
Individual and Family Plans may cover dental treatment resulting from accident or illness and must offer limited preventive services for children. However, adult preventive, restorative dental care, and dentures aren't typically covered.
We offer dental plans through several insurance carriers, depending on your location. This coverage typically pays for preventive and restorative care, such as exams, fillings, and dentures, up to an annual maximum amount. Other limitations may apply.
You may enroll in a dental plan year-round (certain conditions may apply), as there is no enrollment period.
Vision Coverage
Individual and Family Plans typically only cover vision exams for children. There are very few plans that include limited coverage for adults.
Via Benefits offers vision coverage. You may enroll in a vision plan year-round, as there is no enrollment period. Plan limitations may apply.
Hearing Coverage
Individual and Family Plans typically don't offer hearing benefits for adults. However, some plans may offer this as an optional benefit. Hearing screening is a preventive care benefit for children only.
Via Benefits offers hearing coverage that includes hearing exams, hearing aids, and hearing aid repairs. Plan limitations may apply.
