Additional Security Steps

When you sign up for Via Benefits, sign in, or reset your password, you are required to go through a two-step process that provides an added layer of security for your personal information. This process is also known as multi-factor or two-factor authentication. You are asked to choose whether you want to receive a text message with a code or a phone call.

You're required to perform this process each time you sign up, sign in, or change any information related to how you access Via Benefits unless you choose to remember your device. Selecting Remember this device allows you to skip verification for 30 days if your web browser allows it.

1. Verify the phone number you want to use for authentication.

Note: If you don't have access to this phone number, call us at 1-888-578-3803 (TTY:711).

2. Select Text Me or Call Me.

Text Me

  • A verification code is sent to your mobile phone.

  • Enter this code in the Enter Code field on your computer or mobile device, select Next.

Note: Be sure to enter the code and not the number it was sent from.

Call Me

  • You will receive a phone call.

  • Follow the voice prompts to continue signing in.
