Accessing Your Medicare Number Online
If you need to know your Medicare Number and haven't received your Medicare card, you can go to ssa.gov and view your Benefit Verification Letter. The letter includes your Medicare Number and your Part A and Part B effective dates. which are required to enroll in a Medicare plan through Via Benefits.
1. Go to ssa.gov.
2. Sign in to your account.
Note: You'll need to create an account if you haven't already.
3. Select Your Benefit Verification Letter.
4. Select Your Benefit Verification Letter to download it to your PC or mobile device.
5. View the Medicare Information section of the letter for your Medicare Number and effective dates. If the letter doesn't contain this information, your Medicare application hasn't finished processing.
