Create Your Profile on the Website

Create your Via Benefits Profile in preparation for your enrollment. Creating your Profile helps save time and personalize your results when you shop. Entering your Profile information allows us to provide plan recommendations based on your health needs, prescription drugs, and your preferred doctor and pharmacy networks.

Gather this information for your Profile:

  • Doctors you currently see

  • Prescription drugs you now take

  • Local and mail-order pharmacies used

To create your Profile, follow these steps:

  1. Sign into Via Benefits and select the icon for the family member whose Profile you want to edit.

  2. Select Go to Profile in the Profile section. There are three tabs under your name, Personal Information, Health Information, and Your Documents.

Note: If you're not Medicare-eligible the Pre-Enrollment Assessment tab also displays. This tab contains optional health questions that help us make a custom plan recommendation when you shop for plans.

Personal Information

On the Personal Information tab, enter or confirm your information. You aren't required to provide your Social Security Number (SSN) until you enroll.

You can update your Name, Date of Birth, Part A and Part B Effective Dates, Home Address*, Communication Preferences, and Phone Numbers on the website. Select Save when you're done making changes.

Note: The Part A and Part B Effective Dates only display if you're Medicare-eligible.

Call us to change, update, or correct your Medicare Number or Social Security Number. They can't be changed on the website. Also, please call us for assistance removing someone from your Profile.

*A change in county can affect your plans and funding. If you change your address and the county changes, you will see a banner telling you to call us or schedule an appointment.

Health Information

It’s important to keep your provider and prescription information on the Health Information tab up-to-date. This information helps find the medical plans that suit your needs and budget.

You can easily add, edit, or remove your health status, providers, prescriptions, and pharmacies by following the onscreen prompts. Have your prescription bottles available to get the information needed to enter your prescriptions. Select Shop for Plans if you'd like to continue.

Note: An error message displays if you try to add an over-the-counter medication or misspell the name of a prescription medication. If you’re having problems finding your pharmacy, try entering the ZIP Code without the pharmacy’s name.

Your Documents

On the Your Documents tab, you can upload documents that verify Special Enrollment Periods for Individual and Family Plans. You can also view and manage documents you have already uploaded. Do not upload any documentation related to funding or reimbursements here.
