Canceling Direct Deposit on the Website

This article applies to you if you have a Via Benefits reimbursement account, sometimes called a Health Reimbursement Arrangement*.

If you no longer want to receive your reimbursement payments through direct deposit, you can delete your bank account from your profile.

For instructions on updating your bank account, see Setting Up or Updating Direct Deposit on the Website.

Note: If you are the Executor of Estate (EOE) for a deceased friend or loved one, contact us at 1-866-322-2824 (TTY: 711) if you need to update their direct deposit information.

To cancel direct deposit, complete the following steps:

1. Sign in to viabenefitsaccounts.com
2. On the Dashboard, select your name, and then select Banking Information.

 
 

3. Select Delete.

 
 

4. For security purposes, you need to verify your email address. Select Request Code to begin.

 
 

5. You will receive an authorization code via email.

 
 

6. Enter the code in the Enter Code field and select Verify.

 
 

7. Once the verification is complete, select Yes, Delete. A message appears confirming your bank account has been deleted.

*Via Benefits reimbursement accounts are administered by Extend Health, LLC.
